JUDGES

JUDGE/ARBITRATOR’S ROLE

1.In each circuit, there will be 6 judges/referees, one assigned to each station.

2.Each judge is equipped with a board, forms, and a pen for recording. Official clothing is required.

3.The judge/referee counts the valid repetitions each athlete performs at their station and records them on a control form. They count out loud so the athlete can hear.

4.Valid repetitions are those deemed acceptable by the judge/referee; those that are invalidated are null and void. Only valid repetitions are counted.

5.The judge/referee controls the start and end of the exercise by following the orders of the head judge or the timekeeper, who manages the time intervals.

6.The judge/referee waits for the next athlete to arrive at their station and oversees the 2-minute break and preparation for the start of the next exercise.

ROLE OF THE HEAD JUDGE

1.The head judge manages the competition, overseeing the timer and instructing the judges/referees, collaborating with them on technical matters.

2.They may delegate a timekeeper to control the partial and total timings.

3.The head judge collects the control sheet from each athlete at the end of the 6 exercises. They sign the control sheets for each athlete, pair, or team and send them for recording

4.The roles of the ATHLETE, JUDGE/REFEREE, AND HEAD JUDGE will remain the same across the different formats of INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION, PAIRS, or TEAMS OF 6.
